Francois Delhumeau Organ Information:
This large positiv organ was built in Aubusson, France in 1982 by Francois Delhumeau.
Originally used as a house-organ, the instrument subsequently served a medium-sized church in Berkeley, CA, where in a favorable acoustic it was able to lead 250 people in congregational singing. It would also be suitable as a practice organ in an educational institution, or as a second organ in a large church.
An unusual feature, from historical French organ-building tradition, is the treble-only Cornet-V on the upper manual.
The instrument suffered some water damage (before these photos were taken) from a leaky window in it’s last location. It is likely to require some work, but the exact extent of the damage is unknown.
